Choco Moco was a Supply Chain simulation built by talented Het Mendpara and Chiren Shah. This simulation was designed around a continuous simulation built in Vensim that interfaced with Forio Epicenter. This simulation was built around a team of players taking on the role of an executive team of a European chocolate distributor called Choco Moco.
In this simulation, teams of five people take on different executive positions of a simulation. They attempt to improve the company's cash on hand by adjusting the price of the chocolate, the minimum order fulfillment time, contracted lead time, and the target inventory on hand. The dynamic system built in Vensim would take these variables into account and construct a realistic simulation of how factors like Customer Order Rate and Operating Cost would be affected by the player's decisions. This simulation was designed to help players understand the dynamics of supply chain.
For this project, I acted as a producer organizing the task backlog and assisting the developers and the gameplay designer in building the simulation. I also prepared several diagrams and pieces of narrative needed to establish the product's setting and world. We utilized Asana for this project.
The project was completed in conjunction with the talented team at Forio, particularly Will Glass, who acted as a mentor for the team.
