The Coffee Trade Contract Negotiation game was developed to simulate dynamic interactions between suppliers and buyers of coffee beans. I was a contract writer for this project writing basic narrative introductions for the supplier and buyer roles.
In this game, players are separated into teams of companies. These teams are either suppliers or buyers of coffee bean product. Suppliers sell beans to the buyers, who must secure the raw bean product for production into coffee.
The goal of this game is to teach students principles of contract negotiation in an immersive setting. To aid with this, I wrote pieces of narrative that introduced players to their respective roles. This brought the simulation to life, introducing the setting and their company position.
