Level Design
The player's time travel ability meant that each location would have to look remarkably different depending on whether they're in the past or present. The level layout also encourages the player to make use of their time travel by placing obstacles in their path that are only present in one timeline.
Producing
I was the producer for my MFA thesis and was responsible for tasking and leading a team of 10+ undergraduate artists to create original assets for Recurrent.
Programming
I was responsible for the C# scripting for Recurrent. This includes all of the weapons, enemies, and character controller.
Ongoing Recurrent dev log with development updates and content showcases.
Here's a short video of my team's submission for the LCAD 2024 48-hour game jam. I was the team's programmer.
I did all C# programming in Unity.
The project uses A* pathfinding, Object Pooling, interfaces, and state machines.
